Daniela is an experienced multimedia journalist and communications professional with a Bachelor of Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University. She is also pursuing Digital Graphic Design at Seneca College.
Currently, Daniela is a News Media Production Specialist at the School of Journalism that specializes in post production for broadcast journalism.
She provides technical user support and administers training to students, faculty and staff for curricular and co-curricular production work. She conducts technical workshops on the proper and safe operation and use of specific equipment and software programs used in audio, video and digital media productions. She also organizes and maintains equipment and facilities for the School.
Prior to her career at Toronto Metropolitan University, Daniela produced content for Rogers Sports & Media magazines. She was a writer and photographer for The Eyeopener and Ryerson Folio and videographer for Ryerson TV News. She was also the Managing Editor of Digital at On the Record and ontherecord.ca
Prior to her studies, she lived in South Korea where she pursued her International Baccalaureate at Busan International Foreign School. She also volunteered at the Nquyen Nga Centre in Hanoi, Vietnam.
